IAATI UK Training

Whilst vehicle-related crime has reduced in recent years, the theft of prestige vehicles, motorcycles and scooters, and construction/agricultural equipment still represents a significant loss to owners and insurers and a real challenge to law enforcement agencies in the UK.

The theft of hire and leased vehicles, and insurance fraud are also issues to be addressed.

The use of vehicles as a crime enabler has also challenged conventional thinking, and seen the increased use of new technologies to monitor and track those involved in serious and organised crime.

Abuse of vehicle salvage regulations has also created opportunities for thieves to prosper.

Consequently individuals have had to learn new skills and organisations join together to frustrate those stealing our vehicles, providing new identities and passing them off as genuine.

“I would highly recommend this course to anyone who investigates theft claims on a regular basis. The information I received and the contacts I made will result in my being better equipped to frustrate potential fraudulent cases that come across my desk.”

IAATI UK now has put together one day training programmes called “Signs of Crime” to offer the benefit of years of experience reducing, detecting and bring to justice those responsible for vehicle related theft and fraud.
